Cheese-based cream, a new Novara Blue named after San Carlo, whose famous colossus can be visited in Arona, our town.
This cheese is made from pasteurised cow's milk from the province of Novara. A strong, complex tone; the acidic flavour is little present, covered by the predominance of salty and sweet.
Crema di erborinato San Carlone is a table cheese that recalls the great tradition of Piedmontese blue cheeses. It is an excellent condiment for pasta with the addition of cream, to cream risottos, to flavour soups; it is suggested to warm it slightly before spreading it on bread croutons or to enjoy it with nuts and celery.
